Job description
We are seeking an IT Collaboration Support Specialist to support an environment with multi-vendor technologies and large enterprise deployments. This individual will work with a team to deliver outstanding collaborative solutions and address critical technology challenges in the environment. The Support Specialist demonstrates the right attitude and aptitude to learn new technologies and expand upon core knowledge while working in a fast-paced growing company.
Key responsibilities * Coordinate and assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of new collaboration spaces * Ensure that all collaboration spaces, including existing systems, are in working order through regular preventative room checks and proactive resolution of issues * Professional experience to include customer service, requirements gathering, task execution, problem solving, sound judgment around crisis escalation * Use strong problem-solving skills to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action under time constraints. * Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients, including executives, vendors and staff. Perform tasks with minimal or no supervision. * Identify and recommend improvement opportunities that are consistent with client needs. * Off-hour work may be required during maintenance windows.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with communications technologies with a focus on maintenance and Tier 2 support * QSC Audio DSP, Control Systems, and Camera Systems * Biamp Audio DSPs * Crestron Control Systems * Networked Audio, specifically Dante networks * Cisco CE systems operation and maintenance * Live event production including video switching and audio mixing * Microsoft Teams and Teams Room administration and client applications * Significant experience troubleshooting issues with large collaboration systems including Control System and Audio DSP troubleshooting and programming * Experience with configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting various hardware including HP, Dell, Lenovo, and Apple laptops and desktops as well as various client peripherals * Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required as well as listening and presentation skills * AVIXA CTS, QSC, Biamp, Crestron certifications preferred * A strong Understanding of UC & Network Protocols: SIP, MGCP, ISDN, DHCP, VLAN, CDP preferred
