Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from accredited institution. Degree must be obtained by start date. \n

Experience developing, and testing or debugging software using C, C++, or similar object-oriented programming language \n

Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl or similar \n

Real time embedded software development experience \n

Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving experience \n

Experience developing software in a team-based development environment with strong teamwork and communication skills. \n

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects. \n, * Knowledge of Software Development Processes and experience participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, implementation, and testing \n

Experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated build environments. \n

Familiarity with Scrum/Agile, DevSecOps, Git/GitLab \n

Familiarity with Linux OS and Kernal development; Linux device drivers

Work at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration, dependent on program phase \n

Assist in the derivation of system and software requirements, architectural modeling, and technical analysis \n

Design, code, unit test, integrate, and document real-time embedded software solutions with a focus on Secure Software Solution implementations. \n

Participate actively in software peer reviews, code inspections, and technical decision-making alongside multidisciplinary teams, including program leadership and customers \n

Support program execution to ensure work products meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality baselines. \n

Follow established software development processes and practices to maintain software product integrity. \n

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.\n
