Job description

  • Work on complex technical problems and collaborate to provide innovative solutions. Requires investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues and develop resolutions.
  • Work at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration, dependent on program phase
  • Assist in the derivation of system and software requirements, architectural modeling, and technical analysis
  • Design, code, unit test, integrate, and document real-time embedded software solutions with a focus on Electronic Warfare implementations.
  • Participate actively in software peer reviews, code inspections, and technical decision-making alongside multidisciplinary teams, including program leadership and customers
  • Support program execution to ensure work products meet technical, cost, schedule, and quality baselines.
  • Follow established software development processes and practices to maintain software product integrity.
  • Work Location: Onsite at our Point Mugu, CA Campus
  • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Requirements

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required., * Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited institution. Degree must be obtained by start date.

  • Experience developing, and testing or debugging software using C, C++, or similar object-oriented programming language
  • Strong Object-Oriented Design knowledge and real time embedded software development experience
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving experience
  • Experience developing software in a team-based development environment with strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects., * Knowledge of Software Development Processes and experience participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, implementation, and testing
  • Experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated build environments.
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile, DevSecOps, Git/GitLab
  • Hardware / software integration experience
  • Interfacing with FPGAs
  • Development experience working on Redhat Linux, VxWorks, Green Hills or other Real Time Operating Systems.
  • Inter-processor communication
  • X-86 and ARM Architectures
  • Experience working in lab environments with physical hardware (e.g., test benches, simulators)
  • Practical exposure to radar technologies, radar signal processing, or RF or Electronic Warfare systems.
  • Modeling and Simulation knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience developing low-level device drivers or real-time embedded operating system (RTOS) applications.

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
