Java Developer

We’re currently supporting multiple backend and platform engineering opportunities focused on the development of critical digital services. These contracts offer the chance to work on high-profile programmes, building scalable, cloud-based solutions whilst collaborating within multidisciplinary agile delivery teams.

The successful candidates will be involved in developing resilient microservices, API-driven applications, automated testing frameworks and cloud-native solutions, while contributing to best practice engineering, CI/CD and modern software delivery.

Required Skills

• Java
• Spring Boot
• REST APIs & Microservices
• Kafka
• MongoDB
• Unit Testing / TDD
• BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin preferred)
• CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub or Jenkins
• Agile delivery (Scrum / Kanban)

• Kotlin
• AWS services (SQS, SNS, S3, KMS)
• Docker & Containers
• Kubernetes or ECS
• Gatling or K6 performance testing
• PostgreSQL, Redis or other database technologies
• Event-Driven Architecture
• Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
• Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure or GCP
