Job description
- Implement software for new and existing products according to software design and coding principles; write unit tests and perform software and hardware integration
- Validate and verify software from unit to flight test, ensure all requirements are met, produce test reports, and contribute to V&V, release, qualification, and certification
- Produce release planning aligned with systems development and customer needs; ensure availability of releases and follow release management processes
- Liaise with systems engineering and customers to capture software requirements; design and maintain DeckFinder software, contribute to design strategy, and define high- and low-level requirements
- Contribute to engineering planning and process refinement, support global Technical Sales activities, and participate in trials for safe and effective deployment of DeckFinder and test assets
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, * Completed studies in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of work experience in IT / Information Systems
- Experience in software engineering encompassing cross V-Model responsibilities
- Experience in developing unit and integration tests
- Experience in developing software for a airborne systems, particularly in accordance to DO-178B/C is a plus
- Knowledge of CPPUnit framework is a plus
- Strong knowledge of C and detailed experience in embedded software development (scheduler, U-Boot, firmware, I/O); experience with MISRA-C and Xilinx ARM Cortex SoC
- Knowledge of C++ (QT) is a plus; Python, MATLAB/Simulink and Lauterbach Embedded Trace & Debugger are desirable
- Experience with the Atlassian toolchain is nice to have
- Fluent English skills both spoken and written
