Systems Administrator (Windows/Linux)

Candidate will be responsible for reviewing and documenting the release of information to international participants and providing mentorship and Senior-level review to the Foreign Disclosure team. Salary: $75,000-$100,000 There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. ROLES: + Provide engineering solutions for various and unique problem sets and customers in a government software hosting facility. + Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware infrastructure, to include virtual machines and containers. + Perform routine maintenance and configuration changes to various physical and virtual hosts. + Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues on servers, workstations, and IT equipment. + Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans. + Manage user accounts and permissions. + Deploy and maintain software applications. + Troubleshoot technical issues. + Maintain documentation to include knowledge base, incident response actions, system configurations, and other information related to system administration. + Provide technical support to customers, ranging from resolving technical issues to providing guidance and best-practices. + Secure information systems and applications to current DoD guidance +

Maintain configuration and security posture of information systems through continuous monitoring and routine security events/reporting. + Participate in project planning using Agile methodology. + Provide networking support to on-premises infrastructure. + Understanding and familiarity of Linux operating system and virtual networking. + KEY QUALIFICATIONS Clearance: Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret Years of Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of Systems Administration Experience + Previous experience supporting U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) programs, customers, or secure DoD environments is required + Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance experience a must (example: scanning and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) execution) + CompTIA Sec + + Windows or Linux OS certification + VMWare, Virtual Networking, System Backups, Networking, Containers, and Active Directory experience Aether Aerospace is an Equal
