Working Student Software Security

As a Working Student, you will support our Security Architect in implementing and improving Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) processes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity and software development best practices while working alongside experienced professionals.

Your tasks:

• Assist in integrating security practices into the software development lifecycle
• Support threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews
• Help develop and maintain security guidelines and documentation
• Assist in reviewing and triaging results from security scanners and filtering out false positives
• Help maintain security dashboards and generate regular reports on vulnerability metrics
• Support the integration and configuration of security scanning tools within CI/CD pipelines
• Assist in creating materials for security awareness campaigns and developer training

Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, IT Security, or related field

• Basic understanding of software development and security concepts
• Familiarity with programming languages (Go is a plus)
• Familiarity with CI/CD (GitLab/GitHub Actions) and/or security tools is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus
• Team player with a proactive attitude
