Software Engineer, Security

• Secure cloud infrastructure across AWS, EKS, Vercel, and Supabase.
• Implement Kubernetes security, including RBAC, network policies, admission control, and secrets management.
• Design and manage IAM, credentials, access controls, and network segmentation.
• Build and improve SIEM/SOAR systems for threat detection and incident response.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure-by-default infrastructure and platform practices.
• Take ownership of infrastructure security initiatives and help scale the company’s security function.

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering or infrastructure security.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes security, including RBAC, network policies, and secrets handling.
• Strong experience in cloud infrastructure security configuration and management.
• Experience with AWS, cloud access management, and security operations.
• Background in security engineering, platform engineering, DevSecOps, or security-focused SRE/DevOps.
• Experience working at a prominent technology company or venture-backed startup.
• A technical or STEM degree, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Cybersecurity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as the primary or sole security engineer at a startup.
• Experience building security processes and infrastructure from the ground up.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
