Data Governance Consultant

Insight Global is seeking a Data Governance Consultant to join one of their top financial clients in NYC or Dallas (5 days a week onsite). This person will be joining Global Banking Markets Engineering, and will support their Data Governance program. This mid-level resource will support the day-to-day execution and optimization of an evolving governance framework within a highly regulated environment. The role will focus on tracking governance and data quality metrics, monitoring issues approaching or exceeding thresholds, gathering status updates, and leading calls to drive data breaks toward resolution. They’ll manage multiple workstreams at once, triage and prioritize issues across the broader landscape, and work within existing CDO processes, policies, and governance tooling. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and experience using LLMs to help identify trends and improve processes.

5+ years experience supporting Data Governance frameworks and organizations -Experienced with Data Governance tooling -Proven track record improving existing governance processes -Banking/Financial Services industry experience -Exposure to AI tools (being used to help get ahead of issues, track inconsistencies etc.)
