DirectEmployers is looking for a software engineer with backend development experience. This is a full time, direct-hire position in the Product Development department. This position is remote, but you must reside within the states of Indiana, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, Ohio, or Virginia., Your work day must include the core hours of 9:30 AM-4:00 PM EST. Duties will include creation and maintenance of data scraping programs, management software, and working with staff to understand the needs of our members. Candidates experienced with complex systems involving large volumes of data, database access, and optimizations for speed and efficient resource usage are preferred. You will primarily develop in Java and C# and will be working with SQL Server and Windows Server systems.
