  • Monitor network health, troubleshoot incidents, and restore service quickly to minimize production disruption, supporting critical network availability above 99.5%.
  • Support reliable connectivity for PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, industrial control systems, and other connected manufacturing equipment.
  • Implement OT network segmentation using Purdue Model principles; support secure remote access, infrastructure hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Partner with cybersecurity teams on risk assessments, incident response, root cause investigations, and audit readiness aligned with ISA/IEC 62443 principles.
  • Manage hardware and firmware lifecycles, configuration backups, network diagrams, asset inventories, disaster recovery procedures, and controlled network changes.
  • Coordinate with equipment vendors and system integrators on production integrations, plant expansions, and Industry 4.0 projects.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in network engineering, network administration, or infrastructure support, including at least 2 years in manufacturing, industrial, or OT environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, industrial technology, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Hands-on experience with Ethernet, routing, switching, wireless networks, firewalls, and VPN connectivity.
  • Working knowledge of industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus, PROFINET, CIP, and DNP3.
  • Experience troubleshooting infrastructure that supports production or industrial systems.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • CCNA certification or the ability to obtain it within 12 months of hire.

Preferred Experience

  • Cisco Industrial Ethernet platforms; Cisco Firepower, ISE, Catalyst Center, or comparable solutions.
  • OT cybersecurity monitoring tools such as Cisco Cyber Vision.
  • Experience with Purdue Model architecture, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial control systems.
  • Knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 security concepts.
  • CCNP or an equivalent advanced networking certification.

Benefits & conditions

  • Base salary of $103,700-$163,020, with employee incentive programs.
  • Comprehensive benefits, retirement and savings programs, and wellbeing resources.
  • Tuition reimbursement and professional learning opportunities.
  • Exposure to advanced industrial networking, OT cybersecurity, and manufacturing modernization.
  • Paid annual volunteer day and opportunities for community involvement.
