Smart Wind Turbines

Envision’s smart wind platform integrates advanced sensing, digital models and digital twin technologies via the Galileo SuperSense System. With 80+ GW installed globally, Envision ranks first globally in orders and second in new installations since 2022, maintaining a leading international market position.

The energy storage platform provides full-stack capabilities across battery cells, BMS, PCS, EMS and SCADA, delivering integrated end-to-end solutions. The business ranks third in China and fourth globally, with 200+ projects and 15+ GWh in orders. The ecosystem includes Envision AESC (global battery leader) and Univers (AIoT-enabled digital energy management platform).

Green Hydrogen

Envision is developing large-scale integrated green hydrogen and ammonia industrial parks, including one of the world’s largest net-zero hydrogen projects in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia (1.5 million tons planned annual capacity).

Job Responsibilities

• 1. Design, engineer, and optimize utility-scale energy storage systems and work with sales team closely to offer engineering solution to sales team and customers.
• 1. Analyse RFP documentation and assess project scope and risk.
• 1. Conduct technical design and presentations and provide clarifications to our sales team and customers.
• 1. Understand, interpret, and relay customer requirements into BESS technical solution designs.
• 1. Review and submit technical tender response bundles within deadlines.
• 1. Follow up and analyse previous technical tender submissions to understand outcome/result from technical point of view.
• 1. Understand and keep up with storage market technical and engineering requirements and trends.
• 1. Collaborate with customers and commercial teams to support them to negotiate and finalise contracts from technical perspective.

Job Requirements

• 1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering
• 1. Fluency in technical English
• 1. 5+ years of experience in relevant field, preferably incl. experience working for a DNO or TSO
• 1. Working knowledge of battery systems, power conversion systems, PPC/EMS/SCADA and grid connection processes for jurisdictions under your management
• 1. Familiarity with grid operator processes
• 1. Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and standards for BESS systems
• 1. Ability to size the Power Converter System (PCS) and battery system
• 1. Familiarity with design concepts related to short circuit protection, conductor sizing, thermal systems, safety systems, etc.
