Data Analyst/BI Developer

We are seeking a Data Analyst/BI Developer to support the improvement and optimisation of a range of business-critical services and systems. Working closely with the Head of Data, you will help deliver reporting, data analysis, and insight across the organisation, with a particular focus on data held within HR and payroll systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong SQL, Python and Power BI skills who enjoy working with stakeholders to solve data quality, reporting and service improvement challenges. Your new role

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
• Extract, transform and analyse data using SQL and Python.
• Review existing services, processes and datasets, identifying opportunities for improvement and standardisation.
• Work with data from HR and payroll systems to deliver meaningful insights and reporting.
• Support data cleansing, validation and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business priorities.
• Produce clear documentation and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong SQL skills with experience querying and manipulating large datasets.

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.

• Experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to engage with business stakeholders and translate requirements into actionable insights.
