Informatica Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Informatica Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain robust ETL/ELT solutions for enterprise data integration and data warehousing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization. The candidate will collaborate with business analysts, data architects, database administrators, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable data solutions., * Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL workflows, mappings, mapplets, sessions, and reusable components using Informatica.

• Develop and maintain data integration pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into target databases and data warehouses.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts to support data transformation and validation.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and ETL design documents.
• Optimize ETL workflows, SQL queries, and data processing jobs to improve performance and scalability.
• Implement data quality checks, data reconciliation, error handling, and exception management.
• Develop incremental data loads, change data capture (CDC), and full-load processes as required.
• Work with relational databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms, and heterogeneous data sources.
• Monitor scheduled workflows, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support data migration, data cleansing, data profiling, and data validation initiatives.
• Implement best practices for ETL development, version control, deployment, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and availability.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production releases.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team., * Optimized ETL pipelines and data integration solutions.

• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica IDMC/IICS.
• Expertise in ETL/ELT development, data integration, and data warehousing concepts.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, subqueries, analytical functions, and query optimization.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, and snowflake schemas.
• Experience with workflow scheduling, dependency management, error handling, and production monitoring.
• Knowledge of data quality, data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
• Experience with performance tuning, partitioning, pushdown optimization, and large-volume data processing.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Experience with source control and deployment tools such as Git, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD solutions., * Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
• Experience with Informatica Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration, or related IDMC services.
• Familiarity with Python, PySpark, or other scripting and data-processing technologies.
• Exposure to Big Data technologies, APIs, and real-time data integration.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience in enterprise data migration and modernization projects., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Typically 12+ years of experience in ETL development, data integration, and data warehousing.
• Significant hands-on experience developing and supporting Informatica-based solutions.
• Proven experience handling complex data integration requirements and large-scale data processing.
• Experience supporting production environments and meeting business-critical SLAs., * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
