Enterprise Network Architect

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Network Architect to lead the design, modernization, and strategic direction of complex enterprise network environments. This position supports a technology services organization delivering infrastructure solutions to clients in the financial services industry.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in enterprise network architecture, routing and switching, data center infrastructure, and network modernization. This is a highly collaborative position combining technical leadership, solution design, infrastructure planning, and mentorship., * 10+ years of experience in enterprise networking, network engineering, or related infrastructure roles. \n

• Strong expertise in enterprise routing and switching, including protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. \n

• Experience with network technologies including TCP/IP, MPLS, QoS, and Cisco NX-OS. \n

• Knowledge of enterprise network security, firewalls, load balancers, and network management technologies. \n

• Experience designing, implementing, or supporting complex LAN, WAN, and data center network environments. \n

• Strong understanding of network architecture principles, infrastructure standards, and industry best practices. \n

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical recommendations and collaborate across teams. \n, * 3+ years of experience in a network architecture or related infrastructure architecture position. \n

• Experience with storage, server/platform infrastructure, or backup technologies. \n

• Previous experience supporting financial services environments. \n

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered. \n

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification. \n

• Experience developing network architecture roadmaps, technical standards, and infrastructure modernization strategies.

• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise LAN, WAN, and data center network environments. \n

• Develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective network solutions that integrate with existing infrastructure. \n

• Establish network architecture standards, technical documentation, and operational procedures. \n

• Evaluate network technologies and recommend improvements to performance, reliability, security, and operational efficiency. \n

• Develop infrastructure roadmaps supporting modernization, technology refreshes, and long-term business needs. \n

• Provide technical recommendations to leadership, including solution options, costs, benefits, and potential risks. \n

• Plan and oversee network infrastructure implementations, including resource requirements, deployment strategies, and operational transitions. \n

• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery. \n

• Serve as a senior escalation resource for complex network infrastructure issues. \n

• Mentor technical teams and support knowledge transfer to network operations personnel. \n
