Data Management Analyst

The Reference Data Steward / Data Management Analyst is responsible for supporting reference data governance, managing metadata, and ensuring configuration control of critical business reference datasets. This role involves maintaining data quality, coordinating change requests, and supporting governance processes to uphold data integrity across the organization. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update reference tables and datasets including inspector, railroad, location, and code data.
• Manage and maintain data dictionaries and metadata documentation.
• Coordinate and process change requests related to reference data.
• Support data governance processes to ensure compliance and data quality standards.
• Assist in metadata management and configuration control activities.

• Experience with federal data governance standards and practices.
• Strong knowledge of metadata management principles.
• Familiarity with master and reference data management.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with business reference datasets in regulated environments.
• Knowledge of data governance tools and software.
• Understanding of configuration management processes.

• Must adhere to strict data governance policies and confidentiality requirements.

Scheduling:

• Standard business hours with potential for occasional extended hours to support change requests or governance activities.
