Job Title: Software Engineer / Python Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and collaborative Software Engineer to contribute to the development, enhancement, and deployment of new and existing software products. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development experience, a passion for writing high-quality and maintainable code, and the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional product and engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications and backend solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and high-quality Python code following industry best practices.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of new and existing products and features.
• Participate in code reviews, paired programming, testing, debugging, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Take ownership of technical and product-related decisions and contribute to the overall product roadmap.
• Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and data-driven solutions.
• Work with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and development processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate tools and approaches for different technical requirements.
• Follow an iterative development approach, experiment with new ideas, and continuously improve engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support applications through deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong professional experience with Python development.
• Hands-on experience with one or more Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with data engineering/workflow tools such as Kedro and Databricks.
• Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle, CI/CD, version control, testing, and deployment practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing cloud-native and distributed applications.
• Understanding of data pipelines, APIs, microservices, and scalable backend architectures.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Ability to evaluate and adopt modern technologies based on business and technical needs.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
• A continuous-learning mindset with enthusiasm for experimenting and improving existing processes.
