Job description

At Q-tech, we are currently looking for a Cloud Security Specialist to join an international environment, playing a key role in strengthening and improving security across complex multi-cloud infrastructures.

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and gain a deep understanding of security findings generated by Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions across multi-cloud environments, primarily within cloud platforms such as GCP and other cloud infrastructures.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of security findings by reviewing vulnerability backlogs and identifying false positives.
  • Design and implement structured prioritization frameworks to manage vulnerabilities efficiently and consistently.
  • Assess security issues within their full technical context to determine their real-world impact and apply a risk-based approach to remediation.
  • Track remediation initiatives, collaborating closely with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure security gaps are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing hands-on guidance and support throughout the remediation process.
  • Promote a collaborative security culture by working closely with engineering and operations teams.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in Cloud Security, ideally working with CSPM tools and cloud-native architectures at scale.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to design risk assessment and prioritization processes from the ground up.
  • Deep technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, application code, and vulnerability management practices.
  • Ability to distinguish genuine security risks from false positives by evaluating issues within their broader technical context.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams.
  • Proactive, organized, and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong ownership and follow-up capabilities to ensure successful vulnerability remediation.
  • Business-fluent English is required for an international environment. Spanish or German is considered a plus.
