AI Solutions Engineer

We are seeking an experienced AI Solutions Engineer to play a key role in the design, development and deployment of innovative AI solutions within a highly collaborative technology environment. This is a hands-on position focused on building practical AI applications that deliver measurable business value. Working closely with business stakeholders and technology teams, you will develop AI-powered tools, automation solutions and intelligent agents while helping to establish a secure, scalable and governed AI platform. The role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of the Microsoft AI ecosystem, leveraging technologies such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI and Microsoft Copilot Studio to rapidly prototype and deliver AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and deploy AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Azure AI technologies.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable AI platforms and environments across Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Develop AI assistants, AI agents and workflow automation solutions to address specific business challenges.
• Rapidly prototype, test and iterate AI applications to deliver value quickly.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing systems, applications and data sources.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Support the deployment, monitoring and optimisation of AI applications in production.
• Ensure AI solutions align with governance, security and compliance requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures and implementation guidance.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the organisation’s AI capability and adoption strategy.

Skills & Experience:

We are particularly interested in candidates with genuine hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions within enterprise environments.

• Commercial experience developing and deploying AI solutions.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure AI services.
• Experience building AI applications using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI and/or Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Experience developing AI agents and workflow automation solutions.
• Strong programming skills, ideally in Python.
• Experience integrating AI applications with APIs, enterprise systems and data platforms.
• Good understanding of cloud architecture and Azure services.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Understanding of AI governance, security, compliance and responsible AI principles.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple work streams and rapidly deliver solutions in an Agile environment.
