Full Stack Software Engineer

• Independently design, develop, test, and deliver moderately complex features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
• Research and analyze technical requirements and recommend solutions aligned with team standards, considering security, reliability, performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Provide accurate effort estimates and consistently deliver within commitments.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, database engineers, business stakeholders, and fellow engineers to deliver team objectives.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leverage approved AI-assisted development tools to support coding, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and code reviews while validating outputs for accuracy and security.
• Participate in code reviews with a focus on quality, maintainability, test coverage, and adherence to development standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Share knowledge through mentoring, code reviews, pair programming, and documentation.

Level of Independence

Works independently on assigned work and collaborates with the team to identify and organize tasks. Seeks guidance from senior engineers for complex technical decisions and cross-functional architecture initiatives.

• 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Strong experience with Java or C#/.NET, including development, debugging, testing, and production support.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies, with sound judgment in validating generated outputs.
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, merge conflict resolution, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience building, consuming, testing, and troubleshooting REST APIs and integrations.
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization, schema updates, and data quality troubleshooting.
• Ability to independently analyze and solve moderately complex technical problems.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Angular or other modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience working with Oracle databases.
• Exposure to cloud-native technologies such as Azure, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, containerization, observability platforms, or infrastructure-as-code.
