Senior AI/AI Gen Engineer (hybrid in Madrid, 60-65k) - IT consultancy

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and production AI systems, with solid software engineering practices and a strong understanding of how to build reliable, secure and maintainable solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs, covering model deployment, lifecycle management, automation, monitoring and evaluation in production environments.
• Strong data engineering foundations, working with large-scale datasets using SQL and technologies such as Apache Spark, Trino or Databricks.
• Experience with modern LLM architectures and tools, ideally including RAG, vector databases and LLM-based applications running in production.
• Cloud engineering experience, preferably with AWS, designing and operating scalable, reliable and efficient infrastructure for data, ML and AI workloads.
• Strong engineering and MLOps practices, including testing, CI/CD, observability and monitoring, as well as evaluating AI quality, performance and safety risks such as hallucinations, bias and model drift.
• Pragmatic and collaborative mindset, able to work iteratively, communicate technical decisions effectively and adapt to evolving requirements, while keeping solutions focused on real user needs. Experience in Analytics or Trading environments would be a plus.
