AI Engineer (Graduate/Junior Level) - London (Hybrid) - Up to £45,000 AI Engineering - Python - JavaScript - LLMs - AI Agents - Google Cloud - Automation Join a fast-growing technology-driven business investing heavily in AI, automation and emerging technologies. From your first few weeks, you’ll be building and deploying real AI-powered tools that solve real business problems and are used by teams across the organisation. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to AI application development, LLMs, AI agents, automation, cloud technologies and modern software engineering practices. You’ll be mentored by senior technical professionals while taking ownership of projects from an early stage in your career.

You Will Work With Build and deploy AI-powered applications, tools and automations Develop solutions using modern AI coding platforms and development tools Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI APIs Help design and implement AI agents and intelligent workflows Integrate AI solutions with business systems and platforms through APIs Build and deploy solutions using modern AI development tools including Claude, Cursor and Copilot Partner with teams across operations, ecommerce, finance and customer services to identify automation opportunities Work in agile development cycles, rapidly prototyping and improving solutions Contribute to cloud-based applications and services Follow software engineering best practices including version control, testing and documentation Support the safe and responsible adoption of AI technologies across the business

A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or another STEM discipline Strong coding skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript Experience building at least one real software project, whether academic, personal or commercial Understanding of APIs, databases, cloud technologies and Git Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude or Cursor Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication skills A genuine interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies The motivation to learn quickly and take ownership of projects

Desirable Experience Experience working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude or Gemini Exposure to AI agents, agent frameworks or automation tools A GitHub profile, portfolio or personal projects demonstrating your work Google Cloud or AWS exposure Experience building integrations or API-based applications Knowledge of prompt engineering or AI application development
