Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability, leveraging tools like Bruno or other testing frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to maintain coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements, particularly in the insurance domain, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain thorough documentation of APIs, modules, and development processes.
Requirements
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend development using Java Spring Boot APIs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building robust, scalable, and high-performance applications, along with a strong understanding of full stack development principles. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility while collaborating with a dynamic team., * Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Proficiency in unit testing frameworks and Bruno or similar testing tools for backend development.
- Experience with front-end technologies (optional but beneficial) such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Angular/React.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.
Preferred/Desirable:
- Prior experience in the insurance domain or familiarity with insurance business processes.
- Knowledge of database design, SQL, and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).
- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or microservices architecture.
