Principal Full Stack Engineer (Java, AWS, Postgres)

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate optimally within distributed or cross-functional teams., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8+ years of professional software development experience & 3-5 years of technical leadership experience.
• Strong experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs and microservices using modern Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Micronaut, Dropwizard).
• Experience designing and implementing scalable backend services leveraging relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) with strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise messaging and asynchronous integration patterns using message brokers such as ActiveMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, API design, service integration, and event-driven architecture.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with the AWS cloud ecosystem, including deployment, scaling, and cloud-native architectures.
• Test Automation: Experience implementing automated unit & integration testing using Junit, mocking, BDD frameworks.
• AI-Assisted Development Tools: Familiarity with developer productivity and AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar strongly preferred.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Experience implementing and working with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure support strongly preferred

qualifications:

Agile Development: Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Financial Services (Preferred): Prior experience in the financial services industry is a strong plus.
