Requirements

We are seeking a Senior Robotics Full Stack Software Engineer to join an innovative robotics startup focused on transforming the automotive service industry. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced software engineer with strong front-end and back-end development skills and hands-on experience building software for robotics systems. You’ll work with Go, Python, TypeScript, React, APIs, real-time data pipelines, telemetry, and robotics middleware to develop the software that connects autonomous robots, operators, and cloud-based systems.

This is an opportunity to take a senior technical leadership role at a growing startup where your code will directly impact how robots operate in real-world environments. You’ll help build everything from operator-facing applications and fleet monitoring dashboards to the behavior systems that guide robot decision-making. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, working across the full stack, and helping a team establish strong engineering practices. You’ll remain hands-on with development while influencing architecture, mentoring other engineers, and helping turn cutting-edge robotics technology into a reliable product deployed in the field., 7+ years of professional software development experience Strong full stack development experience across front-end and back-end systems Experience developing and deploying software within a robotics company or robotics-focused environment Proficiency with Go, Python, TypeScript, or similar programming languages Experience building production front-end applications using React or a similar framework Experience designing and implementing APIs and software architecture Experience with robotics analytics, fleet monitoring, operational metrics, or real-time dashboards Experience with messaging and streaming systems, including queues, pub/sub, or WebSockets Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins Strong understanding of software engineering principles, clean code, SOLID design, and test-driven development Experience working with real-time telemetry, monitoring, and observability systems Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across software, hardware, and robotics teams

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with ROS or ROS2 Familiarity with robot autonomy frameworks, behavior trees, or state machines Experience with BehaviorTree.CPP, py_trees, or similar tools Experience with MQTT, OpenTelemetry, or real-time telemetry systems Experience visualizing robotics data, telemetry, maps, or spatial information Familiarity with robot log analysis, data replay, ROS bags, or structured event logs Experience building teleoperation interfaces or remote robot supervision tools Experience with low-latency video streaming Experience with simulation environments such as MuJoCo or Isaac Sim Experience with software-in-the-loop testing Experience with edge computing, on-robot services, over-the-air deployments, or fleet orchestration Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership Contributions to open-source projects, Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.

Benefits & conditions

Competitive compensation Opportunity to join an innovative robotics startup in the automotive technology space Significant technical ownership across the robotics software stack Hands-on development of products deployed in real-world environments Opportunity to influence software architecture and engineering standards Collaboration with multidisciplinary robotics, hardware, and software teams Opportunity to mentor engineers and grow into broader technical leadership Fast-paced environment with opportunities for professional growth
