Cisco Catalyst Engineer

Job Description: We’re looking for a highly motivated Network Systems Engineer to join our Network Operations Team on a contract-to-hire basis, requiring 4 days per week on-site in Corte Madera. The ideal candidate should be eager to transition into a full-time role, bringing a consultative mindset and a solid technical foundation in key networking technologies. This role demands exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of network infrastructure, and the ability to work effectively with cross-departmental teams for troubleshooting, installation, and configuration of network systems., * Install, configure, and manage network infrastructure including LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and firewalls.

• Ensure network security and compliance with IT policies, PCI, and SOX.
• Troubleshoot network problems, collaborating with ISPs or vendors as necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation and perform network performance monitoring and tuning.
• Support 24x7 network infrastructure, participating in on-call rotation.

Must-Have Skills: Profound knowledge of PAN Firewall and Cisco Networking. Proven experience with SDWAN and wireless network management. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for network analysis.
