It Security Analyst

SummaryThis position will be part of Signode’s IT Security Operations Center (SOC) team and will be responsible for all internal security operations tasks as they pertain to the Security Operations Center.This position will be expected to work alongside the team to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents, as well as working towards improving SOC processes.The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in incident response, malware analysis, and threat intelligence.Essential FunctionsMonitoring of security alerts through ITSM platformsRespond to security alerts, utilizing open-source intelligence to enrich investigations with meaningful informationMonitoring, evaluating, and profiling of cyber threats to the organizationProactively hunt security threats and anomalies on the networkAnalyze malware statically and dynamically in a sandbox environmentStay up to date with the latest threat attack vectors and countermeasuresDevelop and maintain documentation on SOC processes and proceduresServe as part of an on-call support rotaPosition QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in ITCybersecurity CertificationsAzure CertificationsExperience1-2+ years in a hands-on technical role in cyber security operations1-2+ years’ experience within an internal SOC or an MSSPKnowledge of Microsoft Azure environments and solutionsExperience working with and analyzing logs related to IDPS, EDR, and firewall solutionsSolid understanding of:Incident responseMalware analysisEndpoint and network digital forensicsSecurity detection rulesBest security practices and frameworksFunctional Success DriversAmbitionMotivationalResults OrientatedIndependenceCommunication (Verbal & Written)Organization / Planning#J-*****-Ljbffr
