Data Center Security Officer

Securitas is seeking a professional Security Officer to protect a mission-critical data center. In this role, you will control access, verify credentials, and monitor cameras, alarms, and security systems to safeguard people, property, and digital infrastructure. You will conduct patrols, respond to incidents and emergencies, and document all activities in clear, accurate reports. Working in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment, you will receive structured training, develop security skills, and build a long-term career path in protective services.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the data center and verify credentials for all visitors, vendors, and staff
• Continuously monitor surveillance, alarms, and security systems to detect irregularities
• Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior critical areas and sensitive rooms
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies following established protocols
• Document incidents, daily activities, and observations in accurate, timely reports
• Enforce site policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with client representatives, IT, and facilities teams to maintain secure operations
• Support investigations by preserving evidence and providing detailed incident accounts
• Participate in ongoing training, drills, and certifications to maintain readiness
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service while representing Securitas standards
