Senior Software Engineer

SRC, Inc.is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer for an exciting opportunity in our Electronic Warfare & Services Division. The selected candidate will work hand-in-hand with our government customer to advance a critical set of data analysis tools using cutting-edge technology.

What You’ll Do

• Work as part of a cross functional Agile software development team
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle
• Build new products and services from the ground up
• Think abstractly and solve ambiguous/undefined problems
• Help guide and mentor less experienced engineers

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in software development
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, think independently, and overcome technical challenges

• Experience with some of:

• Javascript
• Typescript
• AngularJS
• Python
• ElasticSearch
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Podman
• Gitlab
• ETL (Extract/Transform/Load)

Understanding of cloud native and micro-service architectures

Familiarity with software unit testing

Ability and desire to work on multi-disciplinary engineering teams

Excellent verbal/written communication skills

Excellent problem solving skills

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Dayton, OH is estimated at $100,000 to $116,000 annually.
