Job description

We are seeking an experienced UI and API Tester with Automation to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications, user interfaces, and RESTful APIs.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in functional testing, UI automation, API testing, regression testing, integration testing, and test framework development.
The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to identify defects, validate application functionality, ensure API reliability, and deliver high-quality software.
Experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, REST Assured, and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable., * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, UI components, and API services.
Perform UI automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
Develop and execute API automation tests for RESTful and SOAP services using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
Validate API endpoints, HTTP methods, status codes, request and response payloads, headers, authentication, and error handling.
Create and maintain reusable automation frameworks using Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing across UI and API layers.
Validate data consistency between the user interface, APIs, and backend databases using SQL queries.
Perform positive, negative, boundary-value, and exception-handling test scenarios.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or other defect-tracking systems.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and QA engineers to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
Analyze test results, investigate failures, troubleshoot automation issues, and report defects with supporting evidence.

Requirements

Engage stakeholders across departments to gather, validate, and prioritize business requirements.
Should have experience in with Multiple business process and Applications
Should have experience in on the End to end of the application flows and processes.
Should have experience in Developing test plans, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and troubleshooting defects.
Should have experience in QA Processes and methodologies
Should have an experience in working as QA in multiple applications
Should have an experience in creating manual Test plans and test cases
Should have an experience in creating Automation Test cases using Selenium or other Automation tools
Should have an experience in executing Automation Test cases using Selenium or other Automation tools
Experience in maintain the Automation framework and test cases
Should have experience in System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression testing and UAT
Having an experience and understanding in Automation testing using Selenium or other tools.
Good Experience in understanding the Microservice Design and workflows of the applications.
Translate business needs into development-ready features, including detailed user stories and system specifications.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve dependencies, define business rules, and ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
Support Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Conduct impact analysis and gap assessments to inform solution design and delivery.
Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance product value.
