Back-end Engineer

• Design and implement performance-critical backend systems for MEV infrastructure throughout the transaction lifecycle .
• Contribute to the development of infrastructure for validator-client integration, relay communication, and block propagation.
• Optimize code for latency, throughput, and reliability in adversarial network conditions.
• Stay informed about MEV developments in Ethereum, Solana, and other ecosystems, The Senior Backend Engineer will design and develop enterprise backend services, APIs, and integrations, collaborate closely with various teams, perform code reviews, and support agile delivery processes within a federal healthcare technology project., As a Backend Engineer, you will design and optimize backend services, collaborate with other teams, maintain APIs, and improve system performance.

• 4-10 years of backend programming experience with expertise in low-level languages like C++ and Rust (experience in both is a plus, but not required).
• Proven backend engineering experience in MEV infrastructure, trading/searching, or block-building organizations.
• Experience designing production-grade, low-latency, high-performance networking architecture and distributed systems.
• Proven track record of technical leadership and project ownership from start to finish.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, collaborative remote environment with strong ownership.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with blockchain internals and validator client behavior.
• Contributions to open-source MEV infra or tooling projects.
• Experience in performance tuning and networking stack optimization.
• HFT experience.
• Academic background from a top-tier university and/or experience at a well-regarded technology company
