Job description
- Akamai API Security, Bot Manager, Edge DNS
- Akamai Application & API Protector (AAP)
- Akamai APIs / Terraform Provider
- Imperva-to-Akamai migration
- DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/SSL, CDN and reverse proxy
- Load balancing / F5
- OWASP Top 10, API Security, Secure SDLC
- AWS/Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, API Gateway
- Python, REST APIs, GitHub, Terraform, CI/CD
- Production support, change management and incident response, * Perform application onboarding within the Akamai platform.
- Configure and maintain Akamai Property Manager configurations.
- Implement WAF protections and Edge Security controls.
- Support Origin Lockdown and origin protection initiatives.
- Perform configuration testing, validation and production deployments.
- Troubleshoot Akamai, DNS, TLS and application connectivity issues.
- Support WAF rule deployment, monitoring and security validation.
- Participate in production releases, cutovers and rollback activities.
- Support post-deployment monitoring and stabilization.
- Collaborate with Application Security, Networking, DNS, CDN, Infrastructure and Application teams.
- Document onboarding procedures and operational processes.
Requirements
- Hands-on Akamai Platform experience
- Akamai Property Manager
- Akamai CDN application onboarding
- Akamai WAF and Edge Security fundamentals
- Akamai configuration deployment and validation
- Origin Lockdown
- TLS/SSL certificate management
- Troubleshooting Akamai, DNS, TLS and application connectivity issues
- Experience making configuration changes directly within the Akamai portal
- Akamai production deployment/support experience
