Software Engineer

Job Description: The ideal candidate will have expertise in Apache Flink, Kafka, and Java development, with a focus on building scalable and efficient real-time data processing solutions., Ø Design, develop, and deploy real-time data processing pipelines using Apache Flink and Kafka and knowledge of how to implement these platforms in a highly secure and available architecture.

Ø Optimize data processing workflows for performance, reliability, and low-latency processing.

Ø Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health and stability of real-time data pipelines.

Ø Contributions to the open source community, including code commits, documentation updates, and engagement in forums or mailing lists.

Ø 2-5 years’ experience in Apache Flink, Kafka, and Java development.

Ø The candidate should have previously been in a lead position and have strong knowledge of Flink and Kafka internals.

Ø Understanding of how to use CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory).

Ø Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills:-

Ø Experience with the NATS messaging system.

Ø Familiarity with Chef.

Ø Knowledge of Go programming language.

Ø Having worked with Docker and Kubernetes.

Ø Experience with AWS and Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka.
