Are you an Data Engineer or Integration Engineer looking for more ownership and the opportunity to shape how data and integrations work across an organisation? Were recruiting for an experienced Data Engineer to join an established organisation at the start of a significant technology transformation. Technology is moving from a traditional, predominantly on-premise environment towards a modern cloud-based approach, and data and integration will be central to that journey. This is a hands-on technical role rather than a people-management position. Youll become the internal specialist for data and integration, working closely with the Head of Applications & Data to understand the current landscape, improve existing integrations and identify opportunities to automate manual processes. Theres an existing SQL-based on-premise data warehouse which needs to evolve towards a modern Azure cloud data platform. You will help them will modernise to an Azure Data Factory, integrating tools like, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, and Fabric.

Requirements

Youll need strong experience designing and delivering integrations, and working with ETL/ELT pipelines. APIs and data platforms. Azure experience is particularly relevant, alongside the ability to understand complex data flows and design practical solutions to business problems. Experience with integration tooling like Logic Apps and Service Bus.

Benefits & conditions

The role is based in Coventry 2 days per week (Tues and Weds) with a top end salary for £70k depending on experience. Unfortunately this role doesn’t provide visa sponsorship and the successful candidate must have permanent residency in the UK (ILR or British Citizenship). Candidates who do not meet this criteria will be discounted. We are an equal opportunity recruitment company. We are particularly invested in Neurodiversity inclusion and offer reasonable adjustments in the interview process. Reasonable adjustments are changes that we can make in the interview process if your disability puts you at a disadvantage compared with others who are not disabled. If you would benefit from a reasonable adjustment in your interview process, please call or email one of our recruiters. TPBN1_UKTJ
