  • Participate in customer design reviews, implementation workshops, technical planning sessions, and operational readiness reviews.
  • Clearly communicate technical issues, implementation risks, recommendations, and project status, and collaborate with Cloud Architects, Security Engineering, Customer Success, Managed Operations, and Sales Engineering throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Validate Managed Services operational readiness prior to production support transition.
  • Support security reviews, compliance validation, audit requests, and implementation of required Government Cloud controls.
  • Maintain relevant cloud, security, automation, and Government Cloud certifications, and adhere to time compliance, documentation standards, and project management requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of IT engineering experience supporting cloud, infrastructure, systems, networking, or platform engineering OR 7+ years of equivalent professional IT engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and supporting at least one major cloud platform: Microsoft Azure (Azure Government / Azure GCC High preferred), AWS (GovCloud preferred), or Google Cloud (Assured Workloads).
  • Understanding of Government Cloud operational models, Managed Services delivery, and customer onboarding processes.
  • Working knowledge of cloud compute, storage, networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, load balancing, firewalls, segmentation), identity, backup, and disaster recovery concepts.
  • Ability to resolve customer-impacting issues while balancing project priorities, service level commitments, and operational requirements.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and executive audiences and to establish customer trust through expertise and professionalism.
  • Strong customer-service orientation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a self-motivated, continuous learning mindset and willingness to mentor peers.
  • Certain customer workloads (for example, those involving ITAR or CUI data) may require U.S. citizenship.
  • Experience supporting public sector (Federal, DoD, State and Local Government, or Education) cloud environments, a plus.
  • Advanced-level certifications in at least two major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), a plus.
  • Experience creating implementation plans, operational runbooks, knowledge documentation, and operational handoff documentation, a plus.
  • Experience with enterprise multi-cloud environments, Managed Services environments, ITSM (e.g., ServiceNow), observability, Infrastructure as Code and scripting, and cloud management platforms, a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Government security frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, CMMC, CJIS, or ITAR, and how they apply to cloud environments, a plus., We’re looking for people who bring curiosity, a learner’s mindset, and a willingness to engage with ever-evolving technology and tools.
