About the company
Overview Insight Global is seeking a Senior SQL Developer to join the Index Delivery & Product team within a leading global financial markets organisation. This role sits within the Index Migration team and will focus on migrating index configurations, index calculation logic, and historical index data from legacy platforms onto the firm’s strategic index management platform.
This is a highly data-focused role where the majority of your time will be spent analysing existing index structures, investigating data models, understanding calculation methodologies, and determining how index configurations and historical data should be mapped between systems. While exposure to .NET applications and UI-based platforms is beneficial, this is fundamentally a database engineering and data migration position rather than a traditional software development role.
