Informatica Application Architect (Finance & Accounting Data Integration)

We’re looking for an experienced Application Architect with deep Informatica expertise and a solid grounding in accounting and finance to support a state government technology organization. You’ll lead the design and governance of enterprise data flows connecting financial source systems, data warehouses, and reporting platforms, with a focus on data integrity and scalable architecture., * Define end-to-end application and data integration architecture for finance and accounting systems

• Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration strategies, and metadata management using Informatica PowerCenter and Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
• Enforce data quality checks to ensure financial data accuracy and audit compliance
• Set coding standards, design patterns, and framework documentation for integration and delivery teams
• Guide cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and act as the technical liaison between finance stakeholders and IT delivery teams

• 8+ years in IT, including 4+ years in enterprise application or solution architecture
• Proven experience designing large-scale data warehousing and ETL solutions with the Informatica suite (IICS, PowerCenter, Data Quality)
• Solid working knowledge of core financial and accounting concepts
• Experience integrating financial ERPs with data lakes, enterprise data warehouses, and reporting tools
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Informatica or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
