4+ years of experience in backend development Strong Python skills and deep knowledge of Django or similar frameworks Solid understanding of relational databases, caching and high-performance backend systems Experience with REST APIs, service design and distributed systems Experience working with complex or legacy systems Ability to independently investigate complex technical problems and identify root causes Experience working with production systems and improving their stability Strong ownership and ability to make sound technical decisions Familiarity with Git, CI/CD practices and modern engineering workflows Strong communication and problem-solving skills English B2+ and fluent Russian Nice to Have Experience working in fintech, payments or another regulated industry Familiarity with AWS and Docker Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka or other message brokers Experience with payment providers or financial integrations Contributions to open source or personal side projects
