Founding Full-Stack Engineer

Join an early-stage AI operations software team as its first in-person engineering hire in New York City. You will own the core systems connecting AI-powered workflows with business software and logistics partners, helping keep critical wholesale operations reliable and visible. What You’ll Do

• Work directly with users to shape customer-facing features, build them, and take them from concept through production.
• Design secure, auditable data models and event-driven pipelines that support automated workflows.
• Develop internal and external APIs and a real-time operator console for visibility into operations.
• Build integrations with business systems, logistics providers, retailers, and freight partners, along with reliable synchronization infrastructure.
• Establish observability, service-level objectives, and on-call practices for mission-critical workflows.
• Work across backend, data engineering, and frontend development based on the highest-priority needs.

• Typically 2 to 6 years of software engineering experience, including hands-on product-oriented startup experience outside consultancy.
• A strong full-stack foundation and experience building robust, reliable production systems.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, React, Tailwind, Postgres, queues or streams, and AWS or GCP.
• Ability to lead work end to end, with sound systems thinking and strong product intuition.
• Startup or small-team experience is valuable. Experience in larger technology organizations is welcome, alongside a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-moving team.
