Full Stack Engineer Level II

1. Platform Upgrade & EOL Migration * Core & Security Upgrades: Upgrade legacy Drupal versions (Drupal 7/8/9) to current supported release standards (Drupal 10/11) prior to the December EOL deadline. * Acquia Cloud Environment: Manage and optimize hosted environments on Acquia Cloud (Dev, Stage, Prod). Execute platform and stack upgrades (e.g., PHP version bumps, Acquia CLI, BLT, Drush). * Code Refactoring & Deprecation Cleanup: Audit custom modules, themes, and contrib dependencies for deprecated API usages and rewrite them to meet modern Drupal coding standards.

2. Testing, QA & Deployment * Automated & Visual Regression Testing: Build and run test suites (PHPUnit, Behat, Cypress, or BackstopJS) to verify frontend layouts, custom functionality, and integration points post-upgrade. * CI/CD Pipelines: Maintain and enhance deployment pipelines using Acquia Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI for zero-downtime releases.

3. Knowledge Transfer & Team Mentorship * Upskilling & Pair Programming: Partner closely with internal non-Drupal engineers to build their technical proficiency in modern Drupal paradigms, Symfony components, and Acquia best practices. * Documentation & Standards: Author clear architecture guides, deployment runbooks, and coding guidelines so the internal team can seamlessly take over maintainability post-contract.

Drupal SME: 5+ years of hands-on experience developing, architecting, and upgrading large-scale Drupal applications (Drupal 9/10/11).

Acquia Cloud Ecosystem: Deep familiarity with Acquia Cloud Enterprise / Site Factory, Acquia CLI, Acquia Search (Solr), and platform management tools.

Backend PHP & Symfony: Mastery of modern PHP (8.x), OOP principles, and Symfony components underlying modern Drupal.

Module & Theme Development: Proven track record writing secure custom modules and Twig-based themes.

Database & Site Migration: Hands-on experience with Drupal Migrate API, Drush, and database schema updates.
