Job description
- Cisco (route/switch, wifi, BGP, firepower firewalls) and icing on the cake would be Infoblox
- Putting standard configs on routers, switches and remote installs using MGB processes
- Setting up APs, upgrading APs, monitoring of issues with Wifi. Looking at heatmaps, etc.
- Pushing firewall rules to existing firewalls through MGB process
- Basic troubleshooting with the firewall after rules are put in (looking at logs, routing tables, etc.)
- Working with me on DFCI requests for networking questions (inventory, how things are configured, etc.)
Requirements
Sr. Cisco Network Engineer Scope: long term contract for these skill sets, Technical SME with knowledge of Cisco Route/Switch, Cisco Firewalls, Cisco WiFi, BGP routing protocol, and Infoblox DNS, Skills: Must Have
