About the company

Tidal Neuro’s mission is to make EEG as routine as ECG. We’re seeking a hands-on founding engineer with medical-device experience to build our first EEG and physiological-data acquisition platform, working directly with the founders and leading clinical and research collaborators.

You’ll initially own hardware prototyping, embedded firmware, monitor integration, signal synchronization, and verification. Over multiple years, as the product develops, your role can expand into small-batch production, supply chain, nationwide lab deployments, and customized research systems for universities, hospitals, and research organizations. Quality, safety, and compliance will guide development throughout.

The role includes potential direct collaboration with National Medal of Science recipient Dr. Emery Brown, Executive Director of Innovation Dr. Kai Kuck, and other world renowned collaborators. Our planned base at the University of Utah’s Center for Medical Innovation offers equipped prototyping workshops and proximity to hospital collaborators.
