Advanced Software Engineer

• Serve as a senior developer driving the design and delivery of the Forge Cognition edge computing initiative.
• Define and own edge architecture patterns for distributed, resource-constrained, and disconnected/intermittently-connected environments.
• Architect and operationalize workloads on Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) (edge and/or hosted, depending on program needs).
• Design, build, and scale Kubernetes-based deployments for edge and cloud (Azure, GCP, Alibaba).
• Lead cloud & hybrid architecture for scalability & resilience.

• 6+ years of experience designing and implementing edge/cloud architectures for distributed systems, with expertise in Kubernetes, Python, Ansible, and cloud-native technologies.
• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying scalable automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, observability, and secure software delivery practices.
• 3+ years of experience with distributed cloud, edge computing, and IoT platforms, including device management, telemetry pipelines, and large-scale system operations.
• 2+ years of experience leading architecture initiatives, conducting design reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating business requirements into technical roadmaps and implementation plans.
