ISSO SME - Remote

We are seeking an experienced Secret or Top Secret Cleared Principal Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to provide senior-level cybersecurity support for mission-critical systems within a Department of Defense environment. The Principal ISSO will serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert responsible for leading Risk Management Framework (RMF), Assessment & Authorization (A&A), Authority to Operate (ATO), continuous monitoring, and system security compliance activities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience taking complex information systems through the full RMF lifecycle, developing and maintaining authorization packages, assessing security controls, managing vulnerabilities and POA&Ms, and partnering with system owners, engineers, administrators, and cybersecurity leadership to maintain an acceptable security posture., * Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance

• Bachelors Degree and 12 years of experience as a Lead ISSO or ISSM
• Expert level knowledge of the RMF Process and vast experience leading all aspects of the RMF/ATO and A&A Process
• Strong background with ACAS, SCAP, STIGing, etc.
• Active CISSP, or CISM

Insight Global is hiring multiple candidates for this role, so exact pay will vary based on total years of experience, depth of knowledge, clearance level, as well as Education/certifications. We anticipate paying 160K - 210K for this role. xrbllit Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
