Job description

Design, develop, and deploy custom automation solutions on Appian’s process automation platform. Build integrations and APIs, develop SQL data models, and collaborate with client teams to translate business processes into technical requirements, deliver features, and support platform adoption. This McLean-based role requires in-office work 4-5 days per week and up to 20% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom automation solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build APIs and data connections integrating external enterprise systems.
  • Create relational data models and optimize databases with SQL.
  • Deliver features with cross-functional teams using Agile methods.
  • Gather business needs and translate them into system requirements.
  • Train and collaborate with client teams to support platform adoption.
