Part-Time: Backend Developer (Java) - Med-Tech Startup

You’ll be working closely with a small, passionate team on real features that ship to join our team on a part-time basis (approx. 20-35 hours per week)., As part of our backend team, you’ll help design and implement robust RESTful APIs and work with relational databases to power our application. You’ll write clean, well-tested Java code, contribute to our build and CI pipeline, and collaborate closely with the rest of the team to bring new features to life. Since we’re building software for the medical technology space, you’ll also get the opportunity to dive into a highly meaningful domain - where what you build genuinely matters.

Do you have experience in Maven?, We’re looking for a talented Java backend developer! If you love clean code, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are looking for a flexible part-time role where your work actually makes a difference, you might be exactly who we’re looking for., Must-haves:

• Solid experience with Java and Jakarta EE
• Familiarity with Hibernate, JUnit, Maven, and Git
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Confidence working with relational databases

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Linux
• Experience with WildFly, Arquillian, or PostgreSQL
• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, UML, or Design Patterns
