SQL DBA

Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

• Develop SQL reporting queries.
• Troubleshoot database issues.
• Database performance tuning.
• SQL statement tuning.
• Reviewing and Implementing Database design changes.
• Coding (procedures, functions, packages, triggers, etc.)., Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM’s overall compensation and benefits package for employees.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study or 4 additional years’ experience in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years or more experience in writing and tuning SQL queries
• 3+ years or more experience in IT Delivery and/or Operations experience
• 3+ years or more of SQL coding / scripting experience
• Ability to report 3x a week (Tuesdays through Thursdays) at the client site in Colorado Springs, CO
• Fully adjudicated Secret Security Clearance.
