DevOps Engineer (Linux / AWS / Terraform)

This consultant will support a large-scale infrastructure modernization initiative focused on improving cloud engineering practices, infrastructure automation, and deployment consistency across enterprise AWS environments. The role will involve working extensively with AWS, Terraform, GitHub repositories, and GitHub Actions to modernize legacy Infrastructure-as-Code implementations, improve repository structure and deployment standards, and automate repetitive operational tasks. The engineer will collaborate closely with technical stakeholders and fellow engineers while taking ownership of assigned project workstreams, participating in technical discussions, and driving infrastructure improvements. Success in this role requires strong hands-on engineering capabilities, self-direction, adaptability, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies while contributing immediately within a fast-paced environment.

• 3+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering experience

• Strong Linux server administration and support experience

• Hands-on AWS infrastructure experience, including EC2 administration

• Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) experience

• CI/CD experience utilizing GitHub Actions

• Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting for automation and infrastructure management

• Experience with Packer and/or Ansible

• Claude Code, AI agents, or AI-assisted engineering experience
