Embedded Software Verification Engineer

3-5 years of experience developing and executing HIL/SIL verification for embedded control systems and ECUs in automotive, off-highway, or industrial equipment environments. 3+ years of hands-on experience with dSPACE HIL platforms, MATLAB/Simulink, and model-based development supporting system-level validation. 2-4 years of experience building Python or C++ automated test frameworks, test scripts, and reporting tools to improve validation efficiency and test coverage. Proven experience troubleshooting ECU integration, embedded software defects, hardware issues, and root-cause analysis using Vector CAN tools and diagnostics. Experience validating embedded systems using CAN/J1939, UDS diagnostics, CANoe/CANalyzer, and other communication protocols. Demonstrated success collaborating with software, controls, and systems engineering teams to deliver complex embedded software releases on aggressive product schedules. Experience working through the complete embedded software development lifecycle, including requirements, verification planning, automation, validation, and release support.
