Java Backend Developer

Primary Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) Cloud Technologies: Cloud Run, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Run Jobs, We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable, production-ready backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful API development, event-driven systems, database integration, and cloud-native application development., * Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

• Architect and manage cloud-native workloads on Google Cloud Platform using Cloud Run, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Run Jobs.
• Implement event-driven architectures and asynchronous communication between distributed services.
• Integrate relational and distributed databases while ensuring data consistency, transactional integrity, and efficient persistence layers.
• Implement secure service-to-service communication and follow backend security best practices.
• Drive system design decisions focused on scalability, availability, fault tolerance, and resilience.
• Implement observability solutions, including structured logging, distributed tracing, and metrics monitoring.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve system reliability.
• Conduct performance tuning and load testing using tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and functional tests as part of the software development lifecycle.
• Optimize application performance, memory utilization, concurrency, and thread execution under high traffic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, maintainable, and high-performance backend solutions.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), particularly Cloud Run, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Run Jobs.
• Experience building cloud-native and event-driven applications.
• Knowledge of relational databases and distributed data persistence.
• Understanding of transactions, data consistency, API security, and service-to-service authentication.
• Experience with distributed systems, system design, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Familiarity with application monitoring, structured logging, distributed tracing, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with JVM performance tuning, memory management, multithreading, and concurrency.
• Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and cloud deployment practices.
• Experience operating and supporting high-traffic production systems.
